At CloudLIMS, we believe a strong workplace culture isn’t built only through meetings, deadlines, and deliverables — it’s built through shared experiences, genuine laughter, and moments where our CLites simply enjoy being together. One such unforgettable experience was our recent CLan outing to Nammadus Resort, perched on the banks of the pristine and grand Naramada River. What was planned as a simple one-night getaway turned into a refreshing, energizing, and truly memorable experience for all our CLites.
Of Bus Rides and Playlists & Hearty Banter
The excitement started right from the office premises. As everyone gathered to board the bus, you could already sense the shift in mood from work mode to fun mode. People who usually discuss projects and timelines were suddenly sharing jokes, playlists, and snacks. The journey itself became part of the celebration. Music played, conversations flowed, and laughter filled the bus. We made a lunch stop on the way, and that simple shared meal set the tone for the rest of the outing — relaxed, friendly, and full of positive energy.
Poolside Moments & Team Spirit
By the time we reached the resort, it felt like the team had already begun bonding even more closely. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, which instantly made everyone feel comfortable and valued. After a quick refreshment break, the team spread out to explore the property. Within minutes, the pool became the center of attention. Some jumped right in with excitement, others tested the water slowly, and a few chose to sit nearby, enjoying the atmosphere and cheering everyone on. Watching colleagues unwind and be completely themselves was refreshing, making it one of the best parts of the day.
The itinerary was thoughtfully planned with a mix of indoor and outdoor activities so that everyone could participate in something they enjoyed. From light games to more energetic challenges, there was never a dull moment. Teams formed naturally, friendly rivalries began, and laughter echoed everywhere. It was especially fun to see quieter team members turn surprisingly competitive and energetic, while others took on the role of enthusiastic supporters. These moments showed how stepping outside the office environment allows people to express different sides of their personalities.
And the Boats Didn’t Disappoint
One of the standout experiences was the boating activity. Surrounded by calm water and scenic views, it offered a peaceful break from routine work life. Some people clicked photos, some enjoyed the breeze, and some simply sat silently appreciating the moment. It was calm, refreshing, and gave everyone a chance to slow down — something we often forget to do in our busy schedules.
Music, Tambola & Unexpected Talent
As evening approached, the outing shifted from playful to festive. The live music setup created the perfect vibe, transforming the space into a relaxed celebration zone. Dinner was served alongside the music, and the combination of good food, soothing tunes, and great company made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. Soon after, the fun continued with Tambola and karaoke sessions. That’s when the energy really peaked — cheers, laughter, playful teasing, and spontaneous performances filled the night.
Just then our own CLites, Anurag and Rupanjan, surprised everyone by singing. It wasn’t part of the official schedule, but it quickly became the most memorable moment of the evening. Their performance drew applause, encouragement, and huge smiles from everyone around. It perfectly captured what our culture stands for — appreciating talent, celebrating each other, and creating an environment where people feel comfortable expressing themselves.
Bananas & Bricks
After a restful night, the next morning started with a relaxed breakfast together. No rush, no alarms, no meetings — just conversations and shared smiles. The group then headed out to visit a nearby banana farm safari and a brick factory. These visits added a unique and interesting touch to the outing. Exploring something different from our everyday work environment sparked curiosity, meaningful discussions, and a lot of questions. It turned into both a fun and learning experience, which made the trip even more meaningful.
The Ride Back (Already Missing It)
Soon it was time to head back. We stopped for lunch on the return journey, stretching the outing just a little longer because honestly, no one was ready for it to end. The bus ride back was calmer, but in a good way — people were relaxed, content, and happily revisiting their favorite moments. Small groups scrolled through photos, shared jokes from the previous night, and talked about which activity they enjoyed most. The most common question heard during the return journey was: When is the next outing?
