We are back from the 2018 ASCO Annual Meeting, held in McCormick Place, Chicago, United States. Over 39,000 oncology professionals gathered from across the globe to discuss modern treatment methods, new therapies, and current controversies in the field of oncology. We showcased our cloud-based Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), CloudLIMS, and demonstrated the indispensable role of a LIMS in addressing the key clinical data management challenges such as safeguarding Protected Health Information (PHI) of patients, following regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, audit trail, and CLIA regulatory standards, managing clinical studies and tests, and enhancing client services by enabling customers to place requests for specimen purchase, tests on multiple specimens, and view test results in real-time, etc. Our COO, Shonali Paul, participated in the meeting and was delighted to meet professionals from the oncology community and be a part of it.
The 5-day annual meeting focused on expanding the reach of precision medicine to every cancer patient and leveraging its benefits to improve cancer patient care. The annual meeting offered pre-Annual Meeting educational programs consisting of seminars and case-based courses, a number of poster presentations on diverse topics, talks by renowned oncology experts, a plenary session, educational workshops, Clinical Science Symposia, ASCO Voices session, apprising attendees about the latest advancements in cancer care treatments.
If you missed the chance to meet us in-person at the 2018 ASCO Annual Meeting, you can sign up for an online product demo and a discussion on some of the pain points you experience. We are happy to discuss modern clinical data management and regulatory challenges and demonstrate how a cloud-based LIMS can help you mitigate such challenges at a very low investment in IT infrastructure and software products. We look forward to meeting you in 2019 ASCO annual meeting to be held in Chicago from May 31-June 4, 2019!
