CloudLIMS is Back from the 6th Annual Emerald Conference

+

We are back from the 6th Annual Emerald Conference held at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort in San Diego, USA. We presented a poster titled “Worried About ISO 17025 Audit in Your Cannabis Testing Lab? LIMS Makes it Easy” at the event. The poster illustrates the resource, process, and management system requirements of ISO/IEC 17025. Some of the requirements discussed in the poster are managing training records of laboratory staff, managing documents, analyzing trends across a set of test results, scheduling instrument calibration and managing maintenance data. The poster delineates the role of a Cannabis LIMS in helping cannabis testing laboratories pass ISO 17025 audits with ease. A number of attendees stopped by our poster. If you missed the chance to see our poster presentation live, you can download the poster from our resources section.

The Emerald Conference is the most advanced technical and comprehensive science conference focused on the cannabis industry. Over 600 attendees attended the annual event. The event brought attendees from different areas of cannabis science, such as analytical testing, extraction, research and development, cultivation science, under one roof. The main conference started from February 27, 2020, with a welcome address by Wes Burk, President of Emerald Scientific. The welcome address was followed by talks by eminent leaders from the cannabis industry. Over 30 technical posters were presented during the poster session in the Expo Hall. Several vendors exhibited at the conference and showcased their products and new technologies. The Quality Summit on February 29, 2020, marked the end of the 6th Annual Emerald Conference.
