CloudLIMS is back from the Cannabis Quality Conference & Expo held at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center in Schaumburg, Illinois, USA. Over 500 attendees participated in the event. Our CEO, Mr. Arun Apte, delivered a talk titled “ISO 17025 Accreditation: Preparing for Your Cannabis Testing Laboratory Audit Using a Cloud-based LIMS” at the event. The talk emphasized the importance of a Cannabis LIMS in meeting the various requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 which is crucial to demonstrate the competence of cannabis testing laboratories across the globe. The talk demonstrated the indispensable role of a LIMS in managing training and competence records of laboratory staff, managing documents such as SOPs, scheduling alerts for instrument calibration, ensuring quality control, and generating Certificates of Analysis (CoA) per the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025. The talk was well-received by the audience. The audience posed several interesting questions after the talk. Mr. Apte was delighted to answer the questions and interact with the audience.
