Back from the ISBER 2019 Annual Meeting & Exhibits

+

CloudLIMS is back from the ISBER 2019 Annual Meeting & Exhibits held in Shanghai, China. For the first time, ISBER hosted its annual meeting in the Asia Pacific region. More than 700 repository professionals participated in the annual meeting. Our COO, Shonali Paul, co-chaired the symposium titled “Biobanking in a Global Research Environment: Respecting cultural Perspectives and Special Study Population Considerations in Biobanking”. She was also the co-chair of the ISBER pre-conference Technician workshop, held on May 6, 2019. She also presented a poster titled “Leveraging Cloud-based LIMS for Managing Tissue Samples at RGCIRC Biorepository to Facilitate Cancer Research”. You can download the poster from our resources section.

The ISBER annual meeting, a premier event in the field of repository and specimen management, provides an international platform to share ideas and showcase the latest innovations, policies, processes, and research findings. ISBER creates opportunities for collaboration, education, and training, and promotes best practices in biobanking and repository management. The event featured plenary and poster sessions, educational and corporate workshops, working group discussions, exhibitions by a number of vendors, contributed paper sessions, and many more. We got the opportunity to interact with a number of delegates. It was a great learning experience for us.

If you missed the chance to meet us in person, you can meet us at the Europe Biobank Week 2019 to be held October 8-11, 2019 in Lübeck, Germany. You can sign up to talk to our experts. We are happy to discuss your biorepository data management and regulatory challenges and the ways to address those challenges.

We look forward to meeting you at the ISBER 2020 Annual Meeting and Exhibits to be held in Anaheim, USA.
