CL Connect is the time of the year when the CloudLIMS family (aka CLites) come together to celebrate how far we have come as an organisation. CL Connect 2025 was one to remember! As CLites from across teams arrived at the venue, the atmosphere slowly transformed into a beautiful blend of excitement, pride, and anticipation. The evening promised not just entertainment but a deeper sense of belonging, appreciation, and joy. It set the stage for a memorable night that reflected the spirit and culture that define CloudLIMS.
Starting on a high note.
The event began after everyone settled in, and Arun started the evening with an engaging and insightful presentation. His words carried passion and clarity, reminding everyone of the progress made, the milestones achieved, and the paths waiting ahead. The presentation set the tone for the celebration by offering reflections on the year gone by and a powerful vision for the future. It ignited motivation among the audience and created a sense of collective purpose. Each slide, each idea, and each insight shared by Arun helped strengthen the sense of unity within the hall.

Once the presentation concluded, the CloudLIMS Quiz Show began. Excitement rippled across the room as the participants stepped forward with confidence and team spirit. This year, the quiz held an even greater charm because our Chief Operating Officer, Shonali Paul, joined Arun as one of the judges. Their presence added a meaningful touch, combining senior leadership with an encouraging and playful attitude. The quiz grew into a lively exchange of knowledge, quick thinking, and friendly competitiveness. Laughter, enthusiastic cheering, and moments of suspense flowed naturally, making the quiz one of the most engaging segments of the evening. By the end of the round, the audience had enjoyed a perfect mix of entertainment and team bonding.
Welcoming New CLites
The event resumed with a special welcome for the new CLites who joined CloudLIMS this year. As their names were announced, the hall filled with warm applause. Seeing so many new faces who bring fresh talent, diverse skills, and vibrant energy into the organisation made this moment truly heartwarming. Their presence added excitement to the evening and symbolised the ongoing expansion and bright future of CloudLIMS.
The Cultural Program Segment
After the welcome ceremony, the cultural programme began, and the stage transformed into a canvas of creativity and expression. The performances carried emotion, talent, and charm. Varsha opened with a poem that created a gentle, reflective mood. This was followed by the energetic group dance from Shreya and her team, leaving the audience cheering and smiling. The team games added humour, fun, and lively participation, drawing everyone into the celebratory spirit.
Badri’s flute performance brought a soulful calm to the hall, filling the space with melodious notes that seemed to touch every heart. Yogita then presented a heartfelt poem that beautifully continued the cultural rhythm of the night. The senior CLites game brought a nostalgic joy that blended humour with enthusiasm, reminding everyone that fun is ageless. The cultural flow continued with a high-energy group dance from Sradha and her team, bringing together performers who showcased coordination, confidence, and sheer passion. Rohit came forward with another thoughtful poem, adding literary charm to the evening. Ashish’s stand-up comedy lifted the atmosphere further, causing waves of laughter and making the audience thoroughly enjoy every moment. Games for all were interspersed between performances, ensuring the evening stayed lively, engaging, and filled with surprises.

As the cultural segment concluded, the event transitioned into the felicitation ceremony, a moment everyone looks forward to each year. The sense of pride in the room became palpable. Shonali stepped onto the stage to honour individuals whose dedication, hard work, and contributions stood out through the year. The Beacon Awards, one of the most prestigious recognitions, were presented. The applause that echoed through the hall for each recipient reflected admiration not only for their achievements but also for their character and consistency.
Following the Beacon Awards, promotions were announced, marking the growth and progress of team members who worked tirelessly and demonstrated exceptional commitment. Each name called to the stage symbolised determination, resilience, and professional excellence. It was a proud moment not just for the individuals but for the entire CloudLIMS family.

The most emotional part of the evening came when the long-term service awards were announced. This segment was dedicated to CLites who had been with CloudLIMS for over twenty years. A beautifully curated video was played, capturing their journey from the earliest days to the present. The room grew silent as the video unfolded memories of dedication, challenges, accomplishments, and transformation. It celebrated not just loyalty but the personal and professional evolution of individuals who helped lay the foundation of what CloudLIMS is today. There was a deep sense of respect and admiration for their commitment, making this segment one of the most touching highlights of the entire evening.
Once the awards concluded, gifts and chocolates were presented to all participants who had contributed to the event. It was a heartfelt gesture of appreciation, acknowledging the performers and contributors who made the celebration vibrant, meaningful, and memorable. Their participation added colour, joy, and entertainment to the evening.
A warm vote of thanks followed, expressing gratitude to everyone who played a part in making the event a success. The evening then transitioned into a delightful dinner, accompanied by a lively DJ session. As music filled the room and CLites danced together, the feeling of unity, joy, and oneness created a perfect close to the night.
