CloudLIMS, a leading provider of laboratory informatics, exhibited at the 2nd IBCQ International Biobanking Conference 2021, which took place virtually from March 8-10, 2021. The event had a gamut of speakers from across the globe, had insightful round table discussions and workshops covering topics right from personalized medicine, to biobanking infrastructure, to sustainability in the pandemic and automation to support biobanking.
We showcased our zero upfront cost, in the cloud, Biobanking LIMS at the event. CloudLIMS helps biobanks manage samples and metadata, anonymize Protected Health Information (PHI) of patients, locate stored samples, automate workflows, maintain data integrity, remove data silos, and help meet guidelines and standards, such as EU GDPR, ISO 20387:2018, HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, and ISBER Best Practices. We also presented a poster titled “Upgrading BIRKA BioStorage’s Inventory System to Process Simple to Highly Complex Sample Management Processes and Controls Using a Cloud-based LIMS” at the event. If you missed the chance to meet us, please schedule a call with us. If you missed our poster presentation live, you can download the poster from our website.
The 2nd IBCQ International Biobanking Conference 2021 was organized by Qatar Biobank in partnership with the European and Middle Eastern Society for Biopreservation and Biobanking (ESBB) and with support of the International Society for Biological and Environmental Repositories (ISBER) and the Biobanking and BioMolecular Resources Research Infrastructure (BBMRI-ERIC). The 3-day event brought together an international group of experts from various fields such as biobanking, genomics, and personalized medicine from around the world to discuss precision medicine and responses to global crises, for example, COVID-19. The event served as a platform for students, researchers, and experts globally to showcase their research findings, share new ideas in the field of biobanking, and raise awareness about the newest technologies and trends in the global biobanking sector. It also featured talks by more than 35 speakers, exhibitions by several vendors, and poster presentations. We got the opportunity to interact with several delegates in our virtual booth and during the poster presentation. It was a great learning experience for us.
