CloudLIMS exhibited at the virtual Europe Biobank Week (EBW) 2020, held from November 17-20, 2020. The event was organized by BBMRI-ERIC1 and ESBB2. Around 600 attendees from across the world participated in the event, including all biobanking stakeholders, from biobankers to vendors, from researchers, hospitals, to patients. At the opening ceremony, Jens Habermann, Director General, BBMRI-ERIC and Rosita Kammler, ESBB President, Head, Translational Research Coordination, ESBB, IBCSG (International Breast Cancer Study Group), ETOP (European Thoracic Oncology Platform) delivered talks.
We showcased our secure, in the cloud, Biobanking LIMS at the event. CloudLIMS, a SaaS, Biobank Information Management System (BIMS) is purpose-built for biobanks. It helps manage samples and associated metadata, anonymizes personally identifiable information (PII) of patients, locates stored samples, automates workflows, maintains data integrity, and follows international standards and best practices, such as EU GDPR, ISO 20387:2018, HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, and ISBER Best Practices. CloudLIMS offers a host of complimentary services, such as unlimited technical support & training, automatic product upgrades, legacy data migration, product configuration to mirror workflows, data backups twice a day, and secure data access. We received an overwhelming response, several attendees visited our virtual booth. Our team got the opportunity to discuss the data management, automation, and biobanking regulatory challenges with the attendees and to demonstrate how CloudLIMS can seamlessly address them. We also participated in the treasure hunt and quiz hosted by the event organizers.
Over 30 session topics were covered in the 4-day event. These topics were covered through talks by over 60 eminent speakers, insightful presentations, industry workshops, and e-posters. The attendees got the opportunity to learn about the latest innovations, technological advancements, and best practices in the biobanking field through high-quality educational and scientific live sessions. If you missed the chance to meet us at EBW 2020, you can schedule a call with our product experts to discuss the data management and regulatory challenges of your biobank.
