  1. Maintain Trace Logs for Patient Records: In addition to Samples, Tests, and Documents, the Trace Log functionality is now also available for Patients. You can easily track every action within the Patients module, right from adding a new patient to updating records of existing ones. Every action is meticulously logged and readily accessible in the Trace Log. The Trace Log contains information such as the name of the staff member who updated or added a record, the date and time when the change was made, the previous and new values, and the reason for making the change. Furthermore, you can generate a report of the Trace Log in PDF and MS Excel file formats for audits and internal reference.
  2. Automated Dependency Calculations: Now import test data error-free! Now, while importing a results file in the Test module, CloudLIMS performs pre-configured dependency calculations, such as Replica, Mapped Value, Conditional Replica, Formula Expression, Mapped Value & Replica, and Formula Expression & Replica for all supported analyte file formats. No more worrying about importing erroneous data. This functionality offers enhanced flexibility for complex dependency calculations irrespective of the format of the instrument-generated result files, eliminating the need for manual intervention in calculating intricate test results.
  3. Transfer Samples Between Storage Containers with Ease: Experience a powerful yet user-friendly interface for transferring samples from one storage container to another. With this enhancement, you can effortlessly move samples not only between freezers but also within the units inside a freezer.
  4. Automatically Calculate Test Due Dates: No more worrying about missed deadlines. You can configure the number of days to carry out and complete testing, starting from the test creation date. Once you’ve set up the parameters, every time you create a new test record, you get the due date displayed. With this functionality, your lab technicians can efficiently keep track of the testing status of all samples, enabling them to prioritize various laboratory tests and ensure a timely process for releasing the test reports. This function helps monitor turnaround times (TATs), thereby maintaining efficiency in the lab.
  5. Map Sample IDs Using Column Numbers: Now, you can easily map sample identifiers, such as Sample ID or Sample ID [External], in CloudLIMS with the corresponding column numbers in your import file. The column numbers can be selected from a dropdown while importing the test results through one of the supported analyte file formats. So, in addition to sample identifier mapping using column headers, CloudLIMS offers a straightforward, efficient way to map your data using column numbers.
