1. Composite Reporting Made Easy
With this upgrade, we bring to you a set of enhancements in the Composite Reports and Advanced Search module of CloudLIMS.
Now, take your reporting capabilities to the next level with additional modules in both target and referential sections of Composite Reports and Advanced Search, giving you the freedom to filter records based on a broader range of modules. Search and report across Sample, Study, Subject, User/Staff, Test, Client, Kit, and Inventory modules and attributes. You can add up to 10 attribute filter rows for each module, whether it’s the target module or the referential module.
The composite reporting functionality now allows you to filter out specific attribute values, ensuring you fetch only the precise data you’re looking for. No more sifting through irrelevant records. With our exclusion filters, you have the power to refine your searches like never before.
Finally, you can now effortlessly select attributes from both the target module and the referential module when generating XLS reports. This means you make your search criteria more stringent, allowing you to create comprehensive and insightful reports that meet your specific needs.
2. Customization on the Client Portal Login Page
Now, whether or not you upload a background image on the client portal login page, you can choose a backdrop color that perfectly complements your text and website. That means you can have the login title, login subtitle, and login footnote in a color scheme of your choice. You can also customize the appearance of hyperlinked text. All this contributes to a more visually appealing client portal login page. This functionality offers you more flexibility to customize the client portal as per your client preferences, thereby enhancing your client experience.
3. Automatic Date Validation
Accurate data is crucial for managing laboratory operations efficiently. Ensuring that the dates entered for various activities are correct is a common challenge in laboratories. Mistakenly entering past or future dates can lead to confusion and errors. This feature prevents users from entering incorrect dates in the system. While adding or editing information in the system, you now have the option to restrict past and future dates and set a specific range of allowed dates. Let’s say you’re conducting a test in your lab, and you want to ensure that the dates recorded are accurate and within a certain time frame. With the date validation functionality configured, the system guides users by disabling any dates that fall outside the allowed range, eliminating the possibility of human error. This feature also extends to importing data from files in MS Excel or CSV formats, adding multiple samples, and making batch edits to records.
4. Attribute Concatenation Extended
Introducing seamless nested attribute concatenation like never before. With this functionality, you can effortlessly combine values of up to four different attributes to define the value of the concatenated attribute. What’s more, the resulting concatenated attribute can be concatenated again to form another concatenated attribute. This functionality enhances automation, reducing manual errors and saving you time.
5. Selective Client Display
This functionality provides more flexibility to users by enabling them to completely hide or selectively display client records while associating clients in any module. We believe in giving you the power to control displaying or hiding client records. The intuitive Show All Clients toggle button, nestled within the Client Preferences, grants you complete command over displaying or hiding client records. It’s as simple as a flick of a switch. If the toggle button is on, an additional Show All Clients button is available in the List of Available Data window that appears on clicking on the Associated Client attribute. Upon clicking the Show All Clients button, all the client records associated with the selected client type get elegantly displayed in the List of Available Data window. Alternatively, you can use the built-in context search functionality to swiftly locate specific client records with ease.
6. Enhanced Inventory Association
With this feature, we have supercharged your application’s speed. You can now link inventory items with sample, test, and other module records faster than ever before. While associating inventory items with a record, for instance, a sample record, you can choose to selectively display inventory items associated with a particular inventory type only and configure your preference for subsequent inventory associations. Alternatively, you can harness the power of the context search functionality to quickly trace the inventory record you are looking for, saving time. So, no more sifting through countless inventory entries—our intelligent system enables you to locate what you need in a flash.
That’s not all. The upgrade enables adding newly selected inventory records with existing inventory items effortlessly.
7. View the Latest Saved Test Results
This version of CloudLIMS enables you to view the latest saved test results of the analytes associated with a specific sample. This means you’ll have instant visibility into the recent evolution of the test results. With this feature, as you enter new test results for a sample, you’ll effortlessly stay up to date with the latest saved test results for each analyte associated with the sample and can compare the old test results with the new ones.
8. Selectively Use New Analytes
Now, you have the power to decide whether to include a newly added analyte to existing test records. By default, any newly added analyte is automatically applied to existing test records. However, if you prefer not to modify existing test records and exclude the new analyte from them, you can choose to do so.
