CloudLIMS, an advanced SaaS, in the cloud LIMS with zero upfront cost, accelerates biobanking, clinical, research, and testing laboratory operations by efficiently managing laboratory data, automating laboratory workflows, and following regulatory compliance, such as ISO/IEC 17025:2017, ISO 20387:2018, ISO 15189:2012, EU GDPR, FSMA, HACCP, HIPAA, 21 CFR part 11, among others. The latest version of CloudLIMS, version 1.95, is equipped with new features and enhancements to enable clinical, and analytical testing laboratories, such as cannabis, agriculture, Food & Beverages, to better meet the data management and reporting requirements of the industry. The highlights of this version are the enhanced pool sample functionality, automatic calculation of Coefficient of Variation, the ability to import sample images while accessioning, and sending customized email notifications to your customers.
Enhanced Pool Sample Functionality: You can now pool up to 120 samples belonging to the same type, obtained from different runs, and the same patient or sample source to create aliquots or one or more derivatives. This pooling functionality enables you to support your laboratory workflows, such as for NGS, and Real-time PCR.
Calculate Coefficient of Variation: You can now automatically calculate the Coefficient of Variation (%CV) to better analyze trends across a set of test results for a Quality Control chart. You can graphically represent %CV in the trend analysis report, thereby enabling you to quickly identify random errors of a test method, compare two test methods or the accuracy of a set of analytical instruments. This functionality also helps you to better meet requirements of ISO 15189:2012, an international standard that specifies the requirements for quality and competence in clinical laboratories.
Import a Sample Image while Accessioning: You can now import an image and specify a caption while adding or editing a sample from the Sample Management module. You can decide the position of the sample image in the test report or Certificate of Analysis (CoA). You can include the sample image either below or beside the sample information table in the test report or CoA. You can also specify image settings, such as the width and height of the image, left margin and top margin in the reporting template. This functionality enables you to give more detailed and meaningful information to your customers. Furthermore, it enables your customers to add sample images from the client portal before placing test requests so that you can correlate samples as they arrive at your facility.
Send Customized Emails: You can now edit email templates in CloudLIMS and send customized email notifications to your customers. This functionality enables you to send personalized communication to your customers enabling a tailored response to reported issues or specified instructions, delivering a higher level of customer service.
