Diwali Milan 2024 at CloudLIMS truly encapsulated the essence of the festival of lights. From traditional attire to creative decorations, team collaboration, and heartfelt moments, the event was a memorable celebration that united all CLites in one joyous spirit. Let’s take a walk through the festivities and cherished experiences that made Diwali Milan 2024 unforgettable.
The celebrations kicked off on October 29th with the Hall Decoration Competition, a long-standing favorite that encourages creativity, collaboration, and a healthy spirit of competition. This year’s theme centered around “Traditional Diwali Decorations,” calling upon CLites to bring their best ideas forward.
Teams representing various departments received an assortment of traditional decoration items. To further boost the team spirit, participants were given the flexibility to source additional materials to elevate their décor. Following safety protocols, the teams worked creatively to transform their assigned spaces into festive Diwali-themed areas.

Both teams got down to decorating their workspaces, fueled by excitement and enthusiasm. Within an hour, halls across our office were transformed into vibrant reflections of the Diwali spirit. Rangolis, diyas, and carefully placed decorations filled each corner, adding a unique and festive warmth to the workspace.
After an intense hour of teamwork and creativity, all decoration activities came to a close, and the final inspection began. Judges Shonali Paul and Badri Patidar had the challenging task of evaluating each team’s work based on creativity, originality, collaboration, and material use. Each team presented their decorated space with pride, explaining the ideas and teamwork behind their setups.
The winning team, comprising members from the Product, Marketing, and Sales departments, was announced during the Diwali Milan ceremony. Their space stood out for its theme, “Ayodhya,” originality, elegant traditional touches, and the cohesive spirit displayed by each team member. Heartiest congratulations to the team for their outstanding creativity and teamwork!
On October 30th, the festivities continued with Traditional Attire Day, where CLites donned their finest Indian outfits. Walking around the office felt like being part of a grand celebration, with each CLite beautifully showcasing the rich colors and styles of India’s cultural heritage. Even remote CLites were encouraged to join in the fun by sharing pictures in traditional attire, ensuring no one missed out on the experience.
Judges Aditi Gade and Anurag Mittal had the pleasure of reviewing the ensembles, and after much admiration and deliberation, the winners for Best Traditional Attire were announced. Congratulations to Ashish Mishra, recipient of Best Male Attire, and Sradhanjali Biswal, honored with Best Female Attire, for their elegant and authentic presentation of traditional Indian attire. Both winners truly embodied the spirit of the occasion, capturing the essence of our rich heritage.
The culmination of Diwali Milan 2024 took place on the evening of October 30th with a grand gathering. The venue came alive with festive energy, and everyone gathered to celebrate the festival of lights with warmth and oneness. Our COO, Shonali Paul, addressed the gathering, extending her Diwali wishes to every CLite and sharing words of appreciation for everyone’s enthusiasm and contributions. Her speech resonated with the values that define CloudLIMS: unity, dedication, and a collective drive toward a brighter future.
Shonali then distributed Diwali sweets to everyone, a gesture that was both sweet in taste and sentiment, bringing smiles and gratitude to all. The team then came together for a group picture, capturing the festive spirit of the evening. This photo now serves as a wonderful memory of the unity and joy that defined Diwali Milan 2024.
After the celebration, everyone enjoyed a special Diwali feast featuring the delicious spread of traditional flavors and festive delicacies. CLites enjoyed the delightful treats while exchanging Diwali wishes and sharing moments of laughter and joy.
