CloudLIMS is excited to participate at the ISBER 2019 Annual Meeting & Exhibits to be held at the Shanghai International Convention Center, Shanghai, China, May 7-10, 2019. Over 700 delegates from across the world are expected to attend the annual meeting. We are presenting a poster titled “Leveraging Cloud-based LIMS for Managing Tissue Samples at RGCIRC Biorepository to Facilitate Cancer Research”. The poster is authored in collaboration with Dr. Juhi Tayal, Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre (RGCIRC), India. The poster, ID PRM1, is scheduled to be presented from 6:30 pm-7:30 pm on May 8, 2019. The poster delineates the role of a biobanking LIMS in managing biospecimens and their complete life-cycle, managing patient consent, and in meeting regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, 21 CFR part 11, and ISBER Best Practices, enabling RGCIRC biorepository to provide high-quality biospecimens to researchers for basic, translational and clinical research.

International Society for Biological and Environmental Repositories (ISBER), a global biobanking organization, creates opportunities for collaboration, education and training. It provides a platform to showcase the latest policies, processes, research discoveries, in addition to new technologies, products, and services. For the first time, ISBER is hosting its annual meeting in Asia. The ISBER 2019 Annual Meeting & Exhibits is a premier trade show in the field of repository and specimen management and brings together repository professionals from across the globe. The 4-day annual meeting features plenary and poster sessions, educational workshops, working group discussions, contributed paper sessions, talks by renowned scientists, round table discussions, exhibitions demonstrating the latest products, services, and technology, and many more.
