Abstract: Cannabis products are intended for human consumption. Therefore, testing is crucial for determining the presence of contaminants, pesticides, microbes, and residual solvents for ensuring therapeutic efficacy, and public health and safety. A cannabis testing laboratory, therefore, needs to implement a consistent and standardized approach to testing, assuring the consistency and accuracy of test results. Testing standardization can be achieved by meeting the regulatory requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017. Besides, a cannabis testing laboratory needs to generate and deliver high-quality test data on time while managing costs.
