About the Event

The ISBER annual meeting has been the premier event in biobanking for over 20 years. Year after year, ISBER brings together new and returning biobankers from 6 continents, providing opportunities for academia, industry, and pharma to learn, connect, discuss, and collaborate.

The ISBER 2023 Annual Meeting theme, “Come As You Are: Building Biobanking Bridges,” underscores the crucial role of interaction and communication among various dynamic fields in the success of biobanking science and practice. Biobanking science and practice involve multidisciplinary areas such as research, technology, management, policy, regulation, economics, industry, politics, security, quality, and ethical, religious, legal, cultural, and social considerations, and collaboration among these fields is indispensable. The event features talks by industry leaders, poster presentations, workshops, and virtual exhibitions by vendors across the globe.
