CloudLIMS is back from the AACR Annual Meeting 2019 held at the Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta, USA. Over 20,000 attendees from across the globe participated in the annual meeting to share their knowledge and discoveries with each other, with the objective of making improvement and progress in cancer research. We showcased our configurable, cloud-based Clinical LIMS, for clinical research and diagnostic laboratories and demonstrated its role in managing clinical data, including patient data, specimens, tests, and clinical studies. We also presented a poster in collaboration with Iliyan P Hristov, Fidelis Research AD, Bulgaria. The poster titled “Managing human tissues, bio-fluids, and clinical trial data at Fidelis Research leveraging a cloud-based system” is now available for download from our resources section.
The AACR Annual Meeting focuses on cancer research and highlights the latest discoveries from population science and prevention; to cancer biology, translational, and clinical studies. It brings together experts from various sectors of the cancer community, including government, academia, pharmaceutical industries, survivorship, and patients. The 6-day annual meeting had a wide range of educational and scientific sessions, methods workshops, presentations by renowned scientists, plenary and poster sessions, exhibitions, and many more. This year, there was an extensive focus on cancer health disparities. It was a great experience to interact with the attendees.
